Charity Tandem Skydive in aid of Breast Cancer UK
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer amongst women in the UK. The lifetime risk of a women developing the disease is now 1 in 8 – up from 1 in 9 just a decade ago. Breast Cancer UK is the only national charity dedicated to the prevention of breast cancers caused by exposure to the carcinogenic and hazardous chemicals in our environment and everyday products. They campaign for improvements in legislation and public health policies which reduce our exposure to chemicals associated with breast cancer; raise awareness amongst members of the public about the links between exposure to harmful chemicals and breast cancers; provide practical solutions to help people reduce their risk; and, support scientific research into the links between breast cancer and harmful chemicals.
