Charity Skydive in aid of Battersea

Join Team Battersea and jump to help rescue dogs and cats get the second chance and happy homes they deserve.

Battersea is here for every dog and cat, and has been since 1860. Our aim is to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes.

You could be jumping for dogs and cats like Tess and Ruby Buttons.

Tess, a Jack Russell Terrier, was handed in to Battersea’s Old Windsor centre when her previous owner’s circumstances changed. Tess spent several weeks waiting for the perfect home, but little did she know it would end up being a historic manor house more than 400 miles away in Scotland. Having spotted Tess on our website, the property’s housekeeper drove the seven-hour journey to meet her, fell instantly in love, and the pair now spend their days looking after the property and enjoying daily walks to the local forest and nearby beach.

Arriving at Battersea at just seven weeks old, it was clear that Ruby Buttons would require a lot of extra care from the staff at Battersea. She was born with a cleft palate and an underdeveloped eye, which the clinic team felt best to remove to ease her discomfort. After recovering in a foster home, the little kitten was soon off to her new home and is now well and truly part of their family.
