Charity Tandem Skydive in aid of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice helps babies, children and young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. They also support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family. The charity are there to enable those they support to enjoy life as children, rather than as patients; as families, not just as carers.

Noah’s Ark was established by Michael McInerney following the death of a child in his close family in a local hospital. Unhappy with the options available for the child, he launched Noah’s Ark’s care for children and families in 2006 after years of fundraising.

The charity is now one of the UK’s leading children’s hospices, providing care for over 350 children and their families every year. They believe that every baby, child and young person who is seriously unwell, and their loved ones, should have access to expert and compassionate palliative care from the point of diagnosis. Partnering with London’s NHS trusts and social care organisations, they have built a home, a community and a team to make that difference.

Noah's Ark Team Charity Skydive - 22nd June 2024

Fancy being part of a team raising money for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice? Why not sign up to the group skydive being held on the 22nd June 2024 at the Brackley centre located 10 minutes from junction 10 of the M40? Bring your family and friends to watch. Bring a picnic and your camping chair! See more details below:

  • Jump Altitude: 13,000 feet
  • Arrival time: 12.30pm
  • Cost of Skydive: £265 (includes a special £15 discount for Noah's Ark supporters)
  • Fundraising target to jump for free: £530
  • Weight limit: 15 stone and weight and height need to be in proportion
  • Minimum age: 16 years
  • Non refundable deposit required to secure your booking: £35
  • Optional video and photos: £120 per person (payable on the day)

The Brackley airfield is a great place to bring your friends and family to watch. There's a nice big grassy area right next to the landing area, so bring your camping chairs and a picnic and enjoy watching the parachutes land just a few feet away! 

Fundraising:

There are 2 options for you to choose i.e. Option A (use some of the money raised to fund the skydive and Option B (fund the skydive yourself). If you are wishing to use some of the money raised to fund the skydive costs (option A), you need to ensure that a minimum of 50% of what is raised goes to the charity. If you raise £530, your remaining balance may be covered from the sponsorship and your deposit may be reimbursed if you wish. If you fall short of this target, you may use up to 50% of what is raised to fund some of the skydive costs and then make up the shortfall from your own pocket. You will be contacted 1 week prior to the jump where we will discuss your fundraising total and confirm how much of what you have raised can be put towards te skydive costs.
